NW Språktjänster celebrates one year on March 15! We want to share a few milestones on the way with you.
On March 15, 2018 the company is registered at the Swedish Tax Office. With the formalities in place, we can start realising the idea of providing qualitative language services combining language skills and a creative mind with an understanding of business from the client’s perspective.
On April 12 the first order arrives – customer mailings, 640 words, that need to be translated from Polish into Swedish. The customer writes: We need (a text of) good quality, so we turn to you.
12 months later we have processed approx. 500,000 words for more than a dozen regular customers.
Interesting assignments keep coming in throughout the spring. The most ordered services are translation and proofreading, but also some interpretation. Cooperation with the building and construction sector develops very naturally.
Autumn 2018 brings a language industry conference in Malmö – we find it important to stay up-to-date with what is going on in the business and make new connections with customers and peer translators.
We kickstart 2019 by launching our new logotype and website – a good complement to our LinkedIn channel where we had been active ever since the company started operating: https://www.linkedin.com/company/nwsprak (don’t forget to follow us there!).
At the beginning of the year, we are also granted membership in SFÖ, i.e. the Swedish Association of Professional Translators – en organisation that imposes strict quality requirements on its members.
So what are the plans for the future? We will keep providing language services based on language competency combined with cultural understanding, so that our customers can focus on their core business while we take care of their translations.
